Myanmar Sunview Garments Co., Ltd second factory was completely destroyed in a fire started by a group of individuals on March 14, 2021. The factory was completely burned down, and all of its equipment, materials, half-finished and finished products were destroyed by the fire or stolen. The factory didn’t receive any compensation from Myanmar government nor any insurance company, and factory suffers from the incident.
But even in very difficult circumstances, the factory strictly abides by Myanmar laws and regulations and fully fulfills its social responsibilities. Myanmar Sunview Garments Co., Ltd second factory has completed the full subsidy distribution (notification fee, severance pay, and subsidy period during waiting period) on Oct 30, 2023.
